NVIDIA CUDA technology
NVIDIA GPUs power millions of desktops, notebooks, workstations and supercomputers around the world, accelerating computationally-intensive tasks for consumers, professionals, scientists, and researchers. To deliver better media conversion experience, Leawo’s media converting solutions have been upgraded with NVIDIA CUDA technology, offering improved video encoding/decoding performance (when processing high-definition videos in particular) for any computer running on CUDA-enabled GPU. By processing video conversions on NVIDIA’s GPU instead of your computer’s CPU, more CPU resources can be spared for other applications, making your computer run 6 times faster.

Presently, Leawo software programs including video converter, Blu-ray Ripper, DVD Ripper, YouTube Downloader, Video Accelerator, etc. supports NVIDIA CUDA accelerating. Converting software solutions that don’t support NVIDIA CUDA accelerating are DVD Copy, DVD Creator, Blu-ray Copy, Blu-ray Creator and Blu-ray to MKV Converter.
Conversion profiles that leverage CUDA technology are clearly labeled; users can optionally enable GPU encoding/decoding acceleration once CUDA-enable graphics card has been detected.
How to open NVIDIA CUDA/AMD APP acceleration on Leawo’s products
On some of Leawo’s media converter programs, like Blu-ray Ripper and Blu-ray Copy, click the “Settings” wheel icon on the top-right corner of menu bar, then enter “Performance” tab to check “Enable NVIDIA CUDA Acceleration” button for activating NVIDIA CUDA accelerating. AMD APP accelerating shares the same operation on opening.
On other programs that still adopt old interface, click “Tools > Options > Conversion” tab to open accelerating.
